L'oreal EverStrong shampoo and conditioner review (plus EverRiche mask review)

Over the years I've been really unkind to my hair but the final straw came when I coloured my hair with the dreaded xxl black and attempted to use the purple xxl on the end to make a dip dyed effect. Needless to say my long hair went as stretchy as bubble gum and snapped off;'(. Long story short, I got my hair cut short but realised I needed a really good shampoo, conditioner and mask range. So with my newly short hair I walked into boots and stumbled onto these newly released beauties.

First off the EverStrong Shampoo. I'm not going to lie, I didn't like this the first time I used this purely down to the scent ( Rosemary and Juniper). Call me a snob all you want but I love a good fruity smelling shampoo (such as Aussie Miracle Moist). But I persevered and  after using it everyday for two weeks, I actually love the smell. Also the first time I used it, it left my hair very dry but since then its left my hair so soft.and unbelievably strong. I know it's a strengthening shampoo but I never expected it to work so well, especially as my hair was so bad before. Literally before my hair stretched when you pult it (even when it was completely dry) but now its so strong, it doesn't even stretch when wet.

Next to review, The EverStrong conditioner. So when I brought this I was looking for a good conditioner after vowing to myself and my destroyed hair to stop covering it in absolute rubbish. And boy did I make a good choice picking this up. It does exactly what it says on the bottle, strenthens and conditions at the same time which is pretty rare, especially with drugstore brands. My only niggle is that the conditioner is very thick (fab) but the hole it gets squeezed out isn't, making it hard to get the product out (not fab). I can predict that when i get near the bottom, which is still a long way off as it lasts so long, I will need to do the 'ol cut-off-the-top-of-the-bottle-and-stick-it-back-on-again trick. (phew, what a mouthful).

So when I went into my Local boots, there wasn't an EverStrong Mask but I've seen other people review it so..? I picked up this though, which is impossibly hard to photograph in its gold packaging. I really do enjoy the sent though, much more of my cup of tea. I do love this as the consistency is odd. Thick like a gel, very strange for a mask but fab if you've gone for the chop. I don't know if this is one for you long haired beauties though as when I had long hair I really liked my masks nice an thick, but that's just my two cents on the matter.

I brought these with my own money here:-)
